Why Did You Become a Doctor?

Dr. Weiss’ desire to become a physician didn’t really start until his brother was involved in a serious car accident. After a 2-month hospital stay, his brother ultimately made a full recovery, and Dr. Weiss was able to witness the entire process firsthand. He realized how doctors can make big impacts in the lives of not just their patients, but their families as well. He recognized that he wanted to help people in the same way, particularly children, and it defined his path moving forward.
