Concierge Pediatrician – Orlando, FL
get to know
Aaron Weiss, MD
At Premier Concierge Pediatrics, Dr. Aaron Weiss is excited to have the opportunity to not only care for children but form lifelong relationships with their families. He wants to be a source of comfort and peace of mind as well as a source of help in times of illness or injury. As a concierge pediatrician in Orlando, he enjoys teaching parents how to understand their children’s needs and help them thrive in their parental roles. He can’t wait to meet you and your loved ones!
why did you want to become a pediatrician?
Both of Dr. Weiss’s parents are healthcare providers — his father is an anesthesiologist, and his mother is a registered nurse — but he didn’t decide to pursue the medical field until he was a little older. When Dr. Weiss was a teenager, his younger brother was badly hurt in a car accident. He watched the dedicated medical staff resiliently care for his brother for months in the intensive care unit, saving his brother’s life and leading to a full recovery. From that experience, Dr. Weiss decided he wanted to have that kind of meaningful impact on families.

Once he began working as a neonatologist in the hospital, Dr. Weiss was exposed to the ugly side of an insurance-driven medical system. He witnessed how the current healthcare model fails many patients and their families. This ultimately prompted him to open a concierge pediatric practice where he could provide efficient, relationship-based, and personalized care to children.
what is your professional background?
After graduating from the University of Miami, Dr. Weiss studied at the same university’s Miller School of Medicine. With his medical degree, he completed a pediatric residency and a neonatology fellowship at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, which is directly affiliated with Northwestern University and Northwestern Medicine. These institutions are among the best in the nation and exposed him to all areas and acuities of pediatric care, especially focused on neonatal-perinatal medicine.

As a board-certified pediatrician in both general pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, he returned to Florida and worked three years in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). He realized that he could better serve his patients with a concierge approach.
outside of the office, what do you like to do?
Dr. Weiss was actually born in Orlando and spent much of his formative years here, so it was an easy decision to come back home to raise his own family. He and his wife Alison are the proud parents of two young children and a goldendoodle. Together, they enjoy going to theme parks and the beach. He also enjoys running, biking, boating, fishing, and going on long walks with the dog. As a black belt in American Kenpo karate, he still trains and spars when he can. Dr. Weiss and his kids have started a healthy-sized backyard garden with tomatoes, peppers, and flowers, which they are glad they can enjoy almost year-round here.
