Expecting Parents
Just as you prepare your baby’s nursery in advance, it can be helpful to have your pediatrician lined up before they are born. Dr. Weiss can meet with you to discuss any concerns you have for their well-being at birth. As a former NICU pediatrician, he is familiar with potential issues and can provide a wealth of information for expecting parents. Then, whenever your baby arrives, he can immediately start their care.
Healthy Kids
At every stage of development, Dr. Weiss will be there to monitor your child’s growth, perform necessary screenings, provide age-appropriate vaccinations, and offer other support for both you and your growing child.
0 to 12 months
During the first year of life, your baby should be examined about every month to every other month because of how quickly they grow. Parents usually have hundreds of questions during this stage anyway, and, with his NICU experience, Dr. Weiss can be a particularly helpful resource.
1 to 2 Years
Although the challenges and concerns can change when your child enters toddlerhood, we will still be here to help with problems such as teething, sleep training, behavior and discipline, and motor skills.
2 to 5 Years
In preschool years, language, growth, and any early signs of disease are especially focused on as well as reaching milestones for emotional, social, and behavioral development.
5 to 12 Years
As your child continues to grow, you may have other concerns when it comes to your child’s well-being. Dr. Weiss can offer advice on screen time with technology, preparation for puberty, school performance, sports or activities, dealing with bullying, ADHD and other behavioral issues, and healthy body image and BMI.
12 to 18 Years
Entering the teenage years, your child may experience more issues with mental health, puberty, reproductive health, and risky behaviors, alongside the usual concerns of development and growth—all of which Dr. Weiss can help with. Additionally, when your child graduates from high school, he can prepare them for transitioning to adult care.
Kids with Chronic Illnesses or Special Needs

- Preterm birth
- Down syndrome
