The at-home appointment model was an absolute lifesaver and something all parents should look into for their children’s medical care. As first-time parents, we had so many questions and worries but Dr. Weiss gave us his abundant knowledge and an endless amount of compassion and time so that we could feel as secure as possible. We love Dr. Weiss! Our newborn spent some time in the NICU, so we were extremely selective when looking for a pediatrician. He met us at our house the day after our baby was discharged from the hospital and I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable and approachable Dr. Weiss was. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even took the time to show us how to swaddle our baby and gave us helpful baby tips. Not your typical pediatrician! Every time we have an appointment, of course he checks on the baby, but he also checks in on us as parents as well. I also love the idea that he’s just a text away if I have any questions. He’s so responsive and it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a professional just a text away. It’s saved me so many panicked Google searches! Dr. Weiss is an incredible doctor with great bedside manner and fabulous communication skills! When my son was four weeks old, he got a fever (which is an automatic hospital stay). Dr. Weiss explained the situation, concerns, tests that would take place, the reasoning for everything, what they were looking for, etc. During this very difficult time for a mom to watch their newborn get a spinal tap, be hooked up to IVs, etc., he had such a great bedside manner and made me feel at ease. He takes the time to understand your family dynamic, personalizes his care, and respects your values while giving comprehensive information and letting you as the parent make the ultimate decision.
